starting deity work? log #2

i've been on and off with practicing witchcraft lately with how busy i've gotten. but recently, i made another friend who is also a witch and they're the coolest ever! talking with them definitely reminded me to do deity work again, and so i did.i offered a small measly candle for my deity bc its all i have left in my hidden shoebox altar rn (ToT) but anyways i invoked them, talked to them politely (they make me extremely nervous), and i asked for their guidance and protection. however, im not super spiritually gifted,,, i seldomly feel/experience paranormal things and my intuition is wack atm so i conversed with them through tarot cards. there is a VERY big difference when you're trying to read tarot alone vs when u have a deity active as your audience. the rest of the details i'll keep private for now! be respectful to these higher beings! ><
