broo why do people not play jrpgs anymore?? i noticed the more things went on people started forgetting about jrpgs like final fantasy and persona or fire emblem, im not saying its NOT popular im just saying that people dont appreciate it as much as before, and it makes me so sad because jrpgs are such a beautiful type of game, i love jrpgs and dont even get me started on most of the turn based jrpgs, i love all types of jrpgs honestly and i dont understand why just because of short form contents people have been more inclined to shorter linear games rather than long term jrpgs and im not saying short linear story games are bad, im just saying long term jrpgs are such an underrated style of game..

during 2020-2021 they were so hyped, i miss the era when everyone was on genshin or making crappy edits to persona 5
now theres nothing i barely see people talking about jrpgs, like bro its so hard being a "traditional" geek because everyone around me doesnt like comics or games especially old games and it makes me so sad..
