STORYTIME: A boy got angry with me for rejecting him

Hey!~ It´s me Ash!! I hope you're all doing well. As I mentioned, I was planning to start sharing storytimes or topics I enjoy, but unfortunately, my first blog post had to be a surreal experience, haha.

Anyway, for those who don't know, I currently use Discord for school and online friendships. The other day, a new friend joined a small group I have on the app. I don't talk much except on voice calls, so I only had one interaction with him, and it was just about a video game.

Anyway, some time passed, and I got a DM from this guy. For a second, I thought it was about the video game, but it turned out to be the biggest confession of his life. Obviously, I politely told him I didn't feel the same way and that I preferred to stay friends.

Things got out of hand because he started saying all sorts of things to me, calling me stupid for rejecting him. He even went to several friends to complain. Luckily, they all know me and decided to tell him to get lost. Upon realizing this, he went to apologize and say that I misunderstood him, but I decided to tell him to go to hell because it was project submission week at my university.

Anyway, I'm writing this because it makes me laugh now, but at the time it really exhausted me, so I feel like I want to remind the community to always learn to set boundaries! We never know how others might affect us, and that can be bad, especially for minors, so remember! NO MEANS NO!
