Studying Japanese

I am happy that I am learning Japanese finally. A year ago I was like "I really want to learn Japanese but i don't want to deal with those complex characters (Kanji)". Now here I am learning Japanese! Learned all hiragana and katakana but that's whatever it takes at least two or three weeks to learn both and memorize it.

I am at the kanji point and LORD it's really complex. I don't really like saying it's 'difficult' because nothing is too hard or too difficult. I am planning on learning Radicals (markings that make up kanji) to better understand what a kanji would mean. And the funny thing is; me learning Kanji sort of makes me understand some hanzi (Chinese characters) but not how to pronounce it.

I see online how people are mad at the fact Japan "stole" their language even though Japan had their own language before that and there's any entire set of countries that use the same alphabet (i don't get the Internet). I am so in love with Japanese culture and it's only going to get better from here.

Kanji I know now (this is sort of a practice for me, you can ignore this):

風、愛、恋、大人、人、大した、思う、心、大、万歳、子、天国、一、火、力、女、彼、今、話、花、手There's others I forgot.
