Summer of 26 Animes

I just recently got back into anime this summer (This list starts from June- now), here's a list of everything I've watched and how I feel about it :7 Please recommend any anime in comments!!

I also added random dates when I watched some of these to see how much anime I was watching in between... Sorry the dates r a little schizo. 

YES I watch dub. YES I know its gay leave me alone...

Jjk (6/2026): 9/10.  SO YUMMMY. Hot/cool characters, good dialog, intro is fire 2oo.  -1 Cuz I know a huge spoiler from manga and that kinda sours it for meh but it was lowkey my fault...

AOT: 1/10… couldn’t finish 1 st season everyone way saying its peak but I just can’t get behind it. I got a  lot of spoilers as well but when I was in middle school. I might return to dis, every1 says third season is peak. 

Mob Psycho 100: 10/10. GASSS HAPPY ENDING TOO so so so adorable. 

Solo leveling: 6/10. Fight scenes r sick. Pissed it won over Frieren tho cmon now... Do we have eyes....

Hells paradise: 100/10. MAPPA THANK U DADA MAN...made me cry a couple times. I tend to get spoiled tho but despite that Im still excited for new season. Probably my fav MAPPA production so far. They did they big one go watch it NEOWWW. 

Frieren: 10/10. No notes, just watch dat shit. 

Kill la kill: 8/10. CLASSICCC, I have notes on dis, I jus don't know how to articulate it rn:')

Dorohedero: 8/10. MAPPA I love dis one... Plot can be a little hard to follow sometimes but tbh I blame it on my incompetence. -2 Because its my ex fav anime-_-... Still love it tho. 

The Summer Hikaru Died: 10/10. JIST KISS ALREADY... I need a new season STAT.

Sk8 the Infinity (7/23/2026): 0/10..I mean idk a lot of ppl liked it and in All fairness I only watched an episode or 2… However it’s only 12 ep so with it being such a short serious the first ep should rlly draw you in. Didn’t do that for me. Also for whatever reason the audio for dub is… muffled? This isn’t an old anime  so I assume it was done on purpose.  Intros bad, writing is corny, and again what the FUCK is up with the audio it pmo so bad.

Fire Force:  8/10. GAGGED, ITS THE THING BEFORE SOUL EATER?? Good ass show, funny, cute characters. Arthur is my fav. 

Chainsmoker cat: 6/10. I like it, isn't much plot going on . Its funny doh, kind of a nice refresh tuning in every week from what Im currently watching (I gotta keep up with it more tho gulp...)

Soul Eater: 9/10. Ending was kinda mid… it was so peak… it IS so peak and a classic, I just need them to do a remake. Soundtrack goes brazzy esp for Death the Kid. 

Dan da Dan  (8/11/2026): 10/10. Good intro, the colors and art is mad unique and distinct, amazing plot, and well written characters. Excited for season 3 next year:p

The disastrous life of Saki K: 5/10. Comical asf , only first season in dub so I watched that. Will return @ later date when I get over my stubbornness watching Sub. 

Arcane: ( Not an anime… but animated so it made it on the list SHUT ITTT): 1000/10. SO GOOD Vi if you see this call me please... 

Charlotte (8/26/2026): 10/10. I swear I’ve seen this before when I was younger. Made me cry. 

To your eternity: 2/10. I got through 14 episodes but couldn’t stomach the rest...it was okay just not my thing rn...Might return to it. I’m also having rlly bad attention span issues it’s always been bad but esp recently. Deleting social media soon. Perhaps will return to this, maybe I just wasn't in the mood for it? 

Bungo Stray Dogs:  5/10. I’m still  having rlly hard time w attention spam idk if it’s the show or me… it was okay not the worst anime I’ve seen, not the best either. The movie was HELLA confusing to me maybe I'm just stupid idk... Im almost done with it but I still stand by my 5/10 rating.
