summer travel blog !! (long)

so i went on 2 vaycays this summer break, one 2 week vaycay and one 1 week vaycay. The first was with my mom and the second with my dad.

the very first week of the vaycay we spent in schorfheide, that's a forest somewhere above berlin, and there's our mom-daughter hotel we always go to, it's got pool and lake and sauna and all that stuff, so pretty fancy. We went to a symphony orchestra thing but the pieces they played were kinda boring.

on saturday of the first week we left schorfheide and went to emsdetten, it's a pretty small town, i went diving in a diving park thing there, it was cool but kinda scary since i was doing it for the first time.

then after 2 nights there we went to cologne because i wanted to see the cathedral, it was absolutely gorgeous and even better than on pictures.

the next stop was liége in belgium, really pretty but for some reason every single house that wasn't in city center was made of red bricks, oh well. I had my first creme brulee in YEARS there, yummy.

after that we went straight to luxembourg city, absolutely PERFECT would recommend. creme brúlee day 2 yummy yum.

after another night we went to metz in france, also a gorgeous city with pretty old buildings. I bought my vintage juicy jacket, some cool jeans and a vintage coach style bag in a vintage store there. ate my 3rd creme brúlee there.

the next stop after 1 night was strasbourg, pretty city bla bla bla really old and pretty houses and a lot of walking like always. had my last and sadly least favorite creme brúlee there since it was the smallest and they burned the sugar crust.

next stop was zurich in switzerland, really expensive but also really pretty. we went to a 5 star restaurant there which i can't say i liked cuz i'm way too picky for that. 

originally we wanted to go home after that but decided to do one last stop in austria, we also drove through liechtenstein and then stayed for another night in a village called dalaas or daalas idk which one it was.

we drove through munich on our way back but it was still a 5 or 6 hour drive which i didn't like. 

i stayed at home for one week until i left for vaycay no. 2 with my dad.

so we started on sunday and stayed 2 nights in bratislava which is a pretty big and pretty city (and the capital i think) in slowakia. 

next stop was tihany in hungary by the balaton lake, my fucking classmate was there too but luckily i didn't meet him. We actually stayed there for 3 nights and we also went bathing every evening, the water was really warm and not that deep. They also had a bunch of lavender there which i liked.

next we went to budapest, GORGEOUS city actually really really pretty buildings, would absolutely recommend. and again there was a classmate there at the same time but this time another one, luckily also didn't meet him. I bought a new lotus necklace on a stand there which is really pretty. I got bitten by a bunch of tiger mosquitos there and i panicked at first because the bites were swollen, turns out that's pretty normal when you get bitten by those monsters.

after two nights we drove back towards home but did a stop in brno in czechia because my dad wanted to see a cave there which turned out to be really pretty. and for some reason every guest in the hotel we stayed at was alternative loll

the rest is just driving home so that's boringggg
