Tanning tips for dummies

ok so tanning this summer was basically a whole routine 😭

like first rule: always pick the best spot. balcony, backyard, park, anywhere where the sun hits just right. if it’s not giving golden glow, we’re not staying.

music ALWAYS on. kanye west, tyler the creator, random playlist you found at 2am… it just makes the whole thing feel 10x better.

then it’s the setup:

• towel or blanket ✔️
• sunglasses even if it’s a little cloudy ✔️
• lip gloss reapply every 10 mins ✔️
• water bottle somewhere nearby but barely touched ✔️

and obviously tanning oil when we’re feeling extra 😭☀️

we’d literally just lie there for hours talking, scrolling, taking pics, then forgetting to take pics, then remembering again like “wait this is a moment”

also face tan >>> body tan. no debate.

and when we’d finally get up it was like ok… we’re glowing now. actual it girl energy unlocked.

then straight to mirror pics because obviously 💿📸

it wasn’t even about getting super dark or anything, it was just the whole vibe of it. slow, sunny, kind of chaotic but also peaceful in a weird way.
