Texas (USA) midterm resultssss!!!

My friends and I are very happy with the results!! The left-leaning representatives of our state, James Talarico (running for Texas Senator) and Gina Hinojosa (running for Texas Governor) both won the midterm election!!!

Let me explain why this is really awesome:

-We are FINALLY rid of our piece of shit we once called a governor Greg Abbott, he has done nothing to help the people of Texas (refer to this if you want to learn about how awful he is but in short he’s very bigoted and has done a lot to fund companies/billionaires and take away from vulnerable people)

-Texas has been flipped to blue (and Texas is known for being a red-ass state so this is a game changer)

-Gina Hinojosa makes history as the first Latina governor of Texas

-Both actually seem to care about people in Texas (including minorities, btw!!!) and will likely try to enforce real change (unlike a certain someone…)

-Our new governor and senator are not alleged/known pedophiles!! (Ehem ehem Ken Paxton lost thank god ehem ehem)

-This shows that YOUR VOTE MATTERS because everyone went out and voted and this turned Texas blue!!! YOUR VOTE MATTERS YOUR VOTE MATTERSSSS

Now some of you are probably thinking “well these people could be bad as well!” And yes you could be right. But that’s just the current state of politics, voting on the lesser evil. And I think we all know that we can’t have MAGA running us anymore, they’ll only do more harm…
