On June 4th, I watched the final episode of The Acolyte (TADC) at the cinema. It was fine not bad, but not that good either. I know there were a lot of leaks beforehand, but I had already bought my tickets, so I went anyway.
The main issue I had with the episode was that I didn’t feel like the characters were working toward a goal. It felt like they had a to-do list and were just checking things off one after another, if you know what I mean. The way they handled Jax’s abstraction was also kinda weird it just happened, and then it was there, like something worthless had just occurred. The ending was fine, not dramatic but acceptable.
So, was it worth the 20 bucks I spent at the cinema? Nope. I feel like I could’ve just spent it on a new shirt or something and waited for it to release on YouTube.
Bye bye,
Mariam

lowk i would only go see it in the theaters just for the lore (never consumed anything of tadc before) but everyone keeps saing it's just ight and isnt worth it even for the lore lmao.
how did you feel about the show as a whole?
i mean as a show its gen okay the fandom is just really trashy ep 9 is really underwhelming but lore wise its not bad some cringe moments here and there but it doesnt ruin it
