the "coming back" of myspace

so lots of rumors throughout the internet have been spread regarding the possible coming back of a beloved social media giant of 2000s which is myspace

we all know that Tom sold it to someone and hasn't been seen anywhere on the internet much

though im a huge fan of old media and old web, but personally idk if i want it to come back. i recall seeing a comment someone made saying "millennials back up its gen z's turn to try myspace out" which i find ridiculously hilarious and unserious. i feel it in my guts it's gonna be the exact same thing with spacehey - little kids taking over it JUST because of the hype and not because of actual interest. i just know everything is gonna be ruined 

idc if youll call me a hater or a poser or some other names but im not gonna change my point UNLESS it's gonna be the exact same myspace - profile customization, music, videos, interesting blogs, NO MOBILE APP ADAPTATION and other weird shit.

people have unhealthy obsessions with social media already, especially kids and teens (lets agree that it has always been this way, creeps have always been around, but still because of different eras and our current possibilities its just not the same as it was in the past). if they come up with something similar to what the current myspace has, im not even bothering to look into it. and i really hope they won't be making some premium memberships or limited edition exclusive features like more photo album space storage etc. AND NO AI

even if they do bring the og myspace back, i probably won't be signing up. i already have so many websites and forums, i have spacehey (which I rarely log into anymore) and friendrewind, which were truly awesome. and i def plan on sticking to friendrewind some more, cuz for some reason it has a completely different vibe to it than spacehey. and imo spacehey just sucks now, i know people are complaining about it not being available in some regions/countries, having some kind of age verification, and the constant website raids (1 or 2 years ago there was a raid of gore accounts popping up everywhere, and i think this was the reason spacehey decided to make it invite code-only? and the inability to post new HTML layout codes has been bothering me like crazy cuz it hasn't been revoked TO THIS DAY)

ranting aside, what are your thoughts on these news? are you excited or rather not?
