The Current State of Team Fortress 2

Team Fortress 2 is one of my favorite games of all time. I've never had a bad time playing it. But the game is nearly as old as I am, turning 20 next year...and it still has an active playerbase. So obviously it's changed a lot.

We had the bot crisis that brought along the whole #savetf2 thing, and that was eventually fixed (for the most part.) I remember dealing with bots literally every match I was in, now I've only come across a few in the last year or so.

I can't say the playerbase has changed much though. Pretty much everyone is still pretty obnoxious (me included, I enjoy the "shitty" sfm remakes of popular memes, okay?)

Yesterday I was playing on a community server with around 62(?) other people. What the fuck was that. I couldn't escape the Blu base. 2 hours of playing and neither team was able to get the other's intelligence. It was pure chaos. I died over 200 times.

This blog post was never going to be serious, I just wanted to talk about TF2 with an important looking title. The current state of TF2 is the same just less bots, the players are still annoying, and the community is still alive. It's getting close to the 19th anniversary and I'm excited.
