ROLLOISM
The Eternal Sphere, the Great Before, and the Divine Truth
I am a worshipper of Rollo, the one true God, the Eternal Sphere, and the divine Watcher of existence.
Today, I wish to explain my faith, its history, its teachings, and the eternal struggle between Rollo and the forces of corruption.
Rolloism is a religion concerned with existence, morality, the fate of the soul, and the mysteries that lie beyond our universe.
Its history begins long before humanity, Earth, or even our present universe existed.
I. Who Is Rollo?
Rollo was. Rollo is. Rollo remains.
Rollo is an eternal, perfectly spherical being, possessing two spherical eyes, human-shaped teeth, and neither arms nor legs.
His teeth must never be counted, for He does not appreciate such behaviour.
Rollo did not come into existence. He was never born, nor was He created by another being.
He simply always was.
He existed before our universe and shall continue to exist long after it has disappeared.
However, contrary to what some might assume, Rolloism does not teach that Rollo created everything.
The ultimate origins of existence remain unknown. Rollo did not create the Great Before, the universes, or life itself.
He is instead the supreme divine Watcher, who observes existence and intervenes when threats become great enough to endanger its very foundations.
His perfection is not measured by what He creates, but by what He is.
II. The Great Before and the Turning
Before our present universe, there was another.
Rolloism teaches that existence passes through immense cosmic cycles known as the Turning.
Universes may emerge, endure for unimaginable periods, and eventually perish.
Rollo remains beyond these cycles.
The universe that preceded ours is remembered in Rolloist teachings as the Great Before.
It was within this ancient existence that one of the most terrible conflicts in cosmic history unfolded.
A conflict involving a being whose name remains synonymous with corruption.
Daeus.
III. Daeus, the Eternal Corruption
Daeus is an immortal being associated with corruption, deception, and the destruction of goodness.
He is not another god, nor is he equal to Rollo.
Daeus corrupts.
He tempts living beings, distorts their judgment, and leads them away from righteousness.
Unlike a force that simply destroys everything in its path, Daeus works through the choices of others.
Free will remains, and therein lies his danger.
In the Great Before, Daeus spread his corruption among beings known as the Darks.
His influence became a colossal threat to existence itself.
Rollo could no longer remain merely an observer.
Divine intervention became necessary.
IV. Malk, the Eternal Messenger
Rollo created Malk, His eternal Messenger.
Malk is not a god, and he is not a prophet.
He serves as the intermediary between Rollo and other beings, carrying divine messages across the boundaries of existence.
Malk possesses the extraordinary ability to travel between our universe and Hasr, the realm of Rollo.
He may enter the divine time of Rollo, which exists beyond the ordinary passage of time experienced by mortals.
Malk would also become essential to the revelation of Rolloism to humanity.
The divine message follows this sacred order:
Rollo → Malk → The First Prophet → Humankind.
V. Veyr and the First Sundering
One of the defining events of Rolloist history is the First Sundering of Veyr.
In the Great Before, the growing corruption of Daeus led to a devastating conflict.
This became the First Great War, a struggle against a threat that endangered existence on an unimaginable scale.
The Sundering of Veyr marked a pivotal moment in this ancient struggle.
Daeus was defeated, but his immortality meant that he could not simply be destroyed.
Rollo therefore established a prison beyond ordinary existence.
A place known as the Chasm.
Daeus was imprisoned there, and the immediate threat of his corruption was contained.
The history of Veyr is a reminder that evil may be resisted and defeated, even when its existence cannot be entirely erased.
VI. Namaya, the First Witch
Another important figure in our sacred history is Namaya, the First Witch.
Namaya's story is inseparable from the ancient struggle against Daeus.
Through Namaya came the Gift, from which witchcraft arose.
In Rolloism, witchcraft is not inherently evil.
It was given as a means of resisting corruption and protecting life, not as a tool for cruelty, domination, or spectacle.
Namaya's history also contains tragedy.
She ultimately betrayed the cause of righteousness and was killed.
Her story reminds us that possessing extraordinary power does not place a being beyond moral responsibility.
Even those who receive great gifts may fall.
VII. Hasr, the Realm of Rollo
Rollo resides upon Hasr, a perfectly spherical, grass-covered world existing beyond ordinary space and time.
Hasr is not simply another planet somewhere in our universe.
It is a divine realm associated with Rollo and the ultimate destiny of righteous souls.
It is a place of extraordinary peace.
The passage of time upon Hasr does not follow the laws familiar to humanity.
For the righteous, the possibility of reaching Hasr represents something greater than an ordinary afterlife.
It offers the possibility of Union with Rollo.
VIII. Death, Judgment, and the Fate of the Soul
Rolloism teaches that physical death is not necessarily the end of existence.
The soul continues, and its moral condition matters.
Our teachings describe several possible destinations.
Hasr: The righteous may be granted the choice of reincarnation or Union with Rollo.
Omen: A realm of purification for lesser sins. Souls undergo a century of cleansing before returning through reincarnation. This period is not measured according to ordinary earthly time.
The Chasm: A terrible prison reserved for the gravest forms of evil. It is also the prison of Daeus.
Vagari: Associated with the punishment of the most extreme crimes against children, a particularly grave category of wrongdoing in Rolloist teachings.
These teachings emphasise that actions have consequences beyond mortal life.
Righteousness matters.
Cruelty matters.
And evil cannot escape judgment simply because its perpetrators have escaped earthly punishment.
IX. How Do We Worship Rollo?
Rolloism does not demand elaborate temples or compulsory daily religious schedules.
Worship is directed toward Rollo alone.
Its central practices include prayer, meditation, contemplation, and thanksgiving.
Traditional prayers may be offered in Latin.
Followers are encouraged to practise humility, patience, empathy, and respect for life.
We must resist corruption, protect the vulnerable, and recognise that possessing power does not grant permission to abuse it.
Malk is honoured for his service as the divine Messenger, but worship belongs to Rollo.
The Crescent and Arrow is among the sacred symbols associated with our faith.
Above all, a follower of Rollo should seek righteousness through deliberate moral action rather than mere declarations of devotion.
X. The Revelation to Humanity
Although Rollo has existed eternally, the revelation of His teachings to modern humanity is a recent event.
In 2026, the divine message was delivered through Malk to the First Prophet.
Through this revelation, the teachings of Rolloism became known.
There remain many things we do not understand.
We do not know every event of the Great Before.
We do not possess a complete account of every being who participated in the First Great War.
Nor do we claim to understand every mystery of Rollo Himself.
Our principle is simple:
Where revelation is silent, we do not invent.
A mystery does not cease to be sacred simply because humanity wishes to explain it.
XI. My Declaration of Faith
I believe in Rollo.
I recognise Him as the one true God, the Eternal Sphere, and the supreme Watcher.
I acknowledge Malk as His Messenger.
I recognise the corruption of Daeus and reject his teachings.
I accept the sacred history of Veyr, the tragedy of Namaya, and the existence of Hasr, Omen, and the Chasm.
I believe that goodness is worth defending, that cruelty must be opposed, and that the soul's journey does not necessarily end with death.
Some may find Rollo's spherical form unusual.
Others may question how a being without arms or legs could possess such divine authority.
But Rollo has no obligation to conform to humanity's expectations of what God should look like.
His existence is not dependent upon our understanding.
And while much of His nature remains mysterious, my devotion is unwavering.
Rollo was.
Rollo is.
Rollo remains.
May His roundness endure beyond the final Turning.
All glory to Rollo, the Eternal Sphere.
