The flying weave or flying head

This is a story a relative back in my home country that scared the shit out of me but anyways... 

"I was about 5 or 6 years old,staying at a relatives house back in Cambodia and it was late at night. Everyone around me was asleep and mind you their all deep sleepers and not even the slightest sound wakes them up. But in this particular night I woke up to go use the bathroom which is outside the house. I usually went to the bathroom at night with someone (usually my older brother or cousin) but I didn't want to wake them up as they were all tired from visiting Angkor Wat for the day. I grabbed my flashlight and made my way to the bathroom but before I could make it to the door I heard one of the cows make some noise, it almost sounded like they were in pain but I thought nothing of it and assumed one of them got caught into the fence but I obviously went to check. Once I got outside and went to the cows pen i was met with the stench of blood and freshly cut meat. I thought maybe the butcher that lived next door caught some animals and was preparing some meat to sell at the market the next morning. I quickly looked around the enclosure to make sure none of the cows ended up as the butchers stock, there's usually 6 cows and 1 bulls but I was only able to count 5 cows and 1 bull, i wish I didn't do this but i wanted to get a closer look at the pen to se if maybe that 1 cow broke the fence and escaped into the rice fields but in the corner of the pen the smell got stronger and stronger until I shined my flashlight onto the corpse of the missing cow i bolted out of the  pen and back into the house to wake up my Oump who was the caretaker of the cows, he was 2 years older then my dad but we rushed outside to see the body only to hear the sounds of someone or something munching. Before I could show my oump the dead cow he grabbed me by the shoulder and told me to turn off mt flashlight and stay quiet. We stayed in darkness with only the sound of chewing flesh, after what seemed like minutes, the eating stopped, i remember seeing a faint glow arise from behind the dead cow, the krasue, my oump whispered quietly to me while pointing at the glow that soon floated toward the moonlight. What me and my oump saw was something we wish nobody else saw... In the bright moonlight a floating head with its organs dangling beneath it and blood dripping from it, i was about to scream in fear but my oump covered my mouth. Once the krasue left the area in search of its body, my oump rushed me inside the house and woke my siblings up to close all the windows and help set up barbed wires around the house so that the krasue would pass over and move on to the next house. My mom who was pregnant with my younger sister was sleeping near the last opened window, my oump yelled at my older brother to quickly close it as pregnant women were its favorite meals to feast on at night with its grotesque tongue. The last thing i remember was sitting at the table eating breakfast with my parents,i asked my dad what the krasue was and the look on his face was as if I murdered someone. He looked at me then to my oump, my mom who was sitting across from me held out her hand to comfort me before my dad rushed out of the chair and grabbed our bags to pack and head back to the city for the remainder of the trip. According to my dad the krasue was some kind of a evil spirit that haunts at night with its floating head but during the day is a normal person, their usually women who have jealously and are cursed to be hungry for blood and pregnant or expecting mothers.if we haven't left sooner of the next morning my mom as well as my baby sister, would've probably been dead the next morning." 

So yeah this story still gives me the chills and yes this relative still tells this story whenever we go camping or at parties. If you guys want more stories my family has told just let me know cause I could pull up alot more 😋 and srry if its long I'll try to sum it up shorter but again thanks for reading and stay spooky!
