you know that time when people kept arguing whether you should pour your cereal in the bowl first and THEN pour the milk, or if it was better to pour the milk into the bowl first and THEN put the cereal?
and then from what ive seen atleast majority of the internet agreed that it was monstrous to pour the milk first and that the right way was by putting the cereal first?
my genuine question is why is that the case? like im not dissing anyone for how they prepare a bowl of cereal but why is it so bad to pour the milk first?
me personally i prefere pouring the milk into the bowl first before the cereal because then i can see how much milk im actually gonna be drinking once i start eating. if i put the cereal first its kinda hard to tell how much milk is in the bowl because of the volume displacement done by the volume of the cereal.
therefore, once i can easily establish how much milk i will be drinking i can just put a handful of cereal in the bowl on top so i can eat (yes i only ever eat one handful of cereal at a time so screw me)
i dont think theres a wrong way to prepare your cereal especially considering your the one whos gonna be eating it, so i need to know why im being villainised and side-eyed by everyone when i reach for the milk first

Hm, I don't see any problem with that and I don't remember seeing people ever arguing about this on the internet and ever knowing that this argument ever exists. LOL XD
I'm just surprised that this argument even exist when I first heard about it lately few months back.
And I'm just as surprised about it learning about people arguing over pineapple on a pizza.
Well, here's my take.... I think it's such a pretty stupid argument just as argument over pineapple on a pizza.
I'd say just eat it the way you want, it's fine if you'll put cereal first then put the milk on the bowl or put the milk on the bowl first then the cereal.
At the end of the day what matters is eating your cereal.
