The Investigation of Lucy Letby Review

So if you haven’t known, this girl named Lucy Letby was a nurse that killed 7 babies in a British hospital, and it’s basically a documentary that covers her prosecutions and controversy. It’s, without a doubt, another one of those films that sensitizes the whole story that was based on a true story, rather than telling it how it was. Storytelling isn’t the main focus on stories like these, and Netflix directors don’t get the hint. Also, the complex medical evidence shown during the case was barely mentioned throughout the film, which is another case of sensitizing the case just so the movie wouldn’t be “out of touch”. Overall the documentary is. 3/10. Expected from a Netflix documentary, it’s like the others that I seen. Horrible adaptations of true crime events EVERY SINGLE TIME
