the joy of vacationing

it's been a lovely few days, in cold windy west wales.  i've always loved it there, ever since uni.  there's just something primal and unfettered about aberystwyth; a sleepy little seaside town, perfectly nestled within the vast, rugged coastline of cambrian bay.  this is home from home, a cozy nook where the salty sea air fills your lungs with every breath.

step even further afield, deep into the cambrian mountains, or farther up the coastline, and you'll be amazed to discover there are parts of this once sceptred isle where the great wave of gentrification has yet to fully engulf us.

it is these small rural pockets of history and culture that are seemingly alone in their stand against the tides of change, like a lone tin soldier abandoning rank, hand ever poised at the hilt of their blade in a show of uncompromising vigil.

anyway, it was a lovely holiday and i would happily share pics.  except that i very stupidly lost my phone (welp) and now have to jump through hoops to get it back.  so you'll have to make do with a few paragraphs of descriptive prose instead.

hi again tho xoxo
