The mechanic & his gears

If you don't oil your gears then your machine will never last.

Ghe more you go on leaving them to rust the more you will relapse.

Your machine will never work the way you wish it did if you ignore the part it really needs.

If the wires get cut, then it will stop.

If the gears get rust, it will not work.

Its iron-like, old smell makes me frown, my eyebrows fall down to my face, sinking, melting expressions of.. disgust? No. Disappointment is the word that I'd like to add.

I plug my nostrils too avoid the smell; that ugly scent of memories.

How idiotic, lazy, immature and destructive for a creator.

I turn my head, I close my eyes but my creation is still there; waiting for me, the mechanic, in hopes for a repair.

'Will I finally get fixed?' it says to me with longing in its voice. 'Not yet.' I whisper to myself, vocal cords of dread. I wish that I could fix it. If my muscles weren't weak I'd fix it, right? 

'I want it fixed'. I told myself.

Well, then, why don't I try?
