the new strokes album & subjective opinions

don't know if anyone has listened or is even a fan of the strokes. they put out a new album a few weeks ago and i've been playing it non stop. it sucks to read all of the haters calling it trash and how it's not good. i love it so much

idk, i just feel like it's not really fair to call someones work, 'trash'. has anyone ever experienced this with a band that they like?
