The ring wasnt that horrid

I thought the original was better than the american remake, its a personal preference thing really.

 I liked that there was so little known about Sadako in comparison to Samira, and I just liked the older vibe more than the american one. What i have also noticed is thar the american one portrayed its victims as heavily disfigured for shock value, whereas zhe og didnt exaggerate as much. It really is a preference thing. They also tried to go for a cold color atmosphere or what you call it, which reminded me of twilight. That was kinda cool, but it disappeared in the sequel movies. 

All in all I love the original, the american remake is good in its own way as well, i have so much to compare which i like/dislike but iz ok. Watch the og first. And imo it defonitely wasnt a terrifying horror movie, more like a murder mystery.
