Some days are so ordinary they barely leave a mark.
You grab coffee, run errands, watch the hours disappear, and somehow the quiet is louder than the chaos. It's funny how the most boring days make you miss someone the most. Not because anything happened but because there was no one to tell about the little things.
And I couldn't help but wonder...
Is missing someone really about the big moments, or is it all the ordinary Tuesdays that hurt the most?
please leave a comment. i don't want to wonder alone.

Missing someone who you used to spend those ordinary Tuesdays with will always make the ache in your heart throb stronger in the silence. With nothing better to do, it makes you sit with that hurt and roll it around in your head.
Tuesdays used to be special. Because I'd share them with somebody I loved more than I could describe. We'd sit around joking and laughing, doing homework together, and just talking about nothing and everything all at once. They used to make my days feel not-so-ordinary because they were anything but ordinary to me.
Now it's just another Tuesday. I sit alone with no homework to complete and nothing to do. Once upon a time, I'd be giggling at another stupid joke that made no sense like it was the funniest thing in the world, only because it came from the most beautiful person I've ever known. The sun feels warm on my skin, but in a sticky way. Not in that gentle way they used to be able to make me feel.
It makes my chest ache with longing for times that I can't have back. But it's gotten easier. The hurt I feel ebbs away with each morning. Sometimes I see something they used to like and my heart gives a flutter, because no matter how much it pains me to remember, I don't think I could ever forget.
It doesn't quite fade, because these feelings meant something once, and the brain can try to forget, but the heart never does. Yet it gets easier to sit with. Easier to understand and accept. One day I'll move on, but a piece of them will always remain with me in quotes I can't remember who they came from, or inside jokes that slip out of my mouth before realizing who would be the only one who would laugh at them. I miss them a lot, but to love is to let go. ( ;´ - `;)

I think its the absence of someone you loved once. Ordinary days are only that, ordinary. Its the lack of someone to tell about the mundane that really cement it as such.
I hope you feel better, whatever it is you're going through 🫂
