The word "homophobic/homophobia"

Correct me if I'm wrong, PLEASE. But shouldn't there be a DIFFERENT WORD for homophobic/homophobia? Because from what III KNOW, a phobia is a FEARRR. A FEAR.. DISLIKE, HATE, DISCOMFORT, THOSE AREN'T FEARS. Don't get me wrong, It's the only word we kinda have for that like term but PHOBIA??? ARE WE SERIOUS?? SOME might ACTUALLY be scared(not to sure why but uhh yeah) but not evrey living soul that is homoPHOBIC is SCARED of someone who's not hetro-sexual so, WE NEED A NEW TERM PEOPLEEEEE THE PHOBIA/PHOBIC IN THIS WORD ISNT RIGHTHTHTHTHTHTHT if there's smth I don't know about the term "phobia" TELL ME..dkkhfdjfs Im like lowk confused soososoo eyahhh
