This always got me teary

I hadn't listened to She's Green's songs in a long time, so I listened to them again today.

The moment the first song started playing, my mind was instantly transported to the scene. After listening to "Little Birds," I cried during the second song, "Mandy." It wasn't the kind of loud, heartbreaking crying; it was the kind of gentle, comforting embrace that comes after a long and arduous struggle, tears welling up quietly and flowing silently.

Even if I didn't fully grasp the lyrics the first time, the melody alone was enough to fill that empty corner in my heart. It felt like a late summer afternoon, the sunlight and gentle breeze unexpectedly imprinted on my memory. "Smile again" is a good song at the end, to put myself together again.
