Jake was impolite when he was but a sprite. Alice was shy when she wasn't that high. Now that they're weathered, Alice speaks for them together. When Jake and his dad are out he does not pout, he does not ever fear. Their parents were strict until it all clicked and his smile is never a sneer. But how do they know that they hadn't been tricked, and perhaps it was that Jake could predict? How do they know when their backs were turned, that he wouldn't be all but full of spurn! He did not care for hellos or goodbyes, nor did he look at people in the eyes. Jake did not like dogs or cats, he did not want to stop and chat. Jake did not care for this or that, nor did he care where the elderly sat! And when their parents were out of town, Alice would frown while they weren't around. She said thank you and please in order to appease, but secretly she would always freeze. Every interaction was a test, and she would never laugh in jest. Halfway empty was always her cup. But actually I just made all of that up. Alice was not meek, and she does in fact speak on every day of the week! Alice was courageous and brave indeed. She would ride into battle on her noble steed! Jake was on good terms with his mom, he would never frighten her. He was chivalrous and grand, and would even fight a tiger. But he must be careful, and fight as two. Alice and Jake fight together as siblings do. Tigers are tricky, you mustn't forget. The golden rule that we all must respect. When dealing with tigers, there's one thing you should know. That you should never go one on one, toe to toe.
