now it is the evening of the second day there
it was pretty dark by this point and i'm kinda nervous when taking pictures with my flash on for some reason lol
this church is quite new (built around 15-16 years ago if i remember correctly) and it's still unfinished
missing some smaller mosaic pieces on the outside and inside is still getting painted
we went there on the second day and actually saw the process which was really cool. also someone had a wedding in there so i got to see that too :0
pretty bad pic bc i didn't use flash and had to zoom in a lot but i forgot to take pics of this place in daylight :(
and that's the tall thing in the end of that park
there we had about 40 minute walk with my mom to our flat. i think this week was actually the most we spoke in a while haha. we didn't have such a nice relationship while i was living with her but we're both different now so talking with her makes me really happy ^^
also yeah more churches are coming. i wouldn't say that i'm a religious person but i just really enjoy looking at all the paintings and the architecture. though as i live i think more about religion in general
my mom told me that she visited quite a lot of churches lately and we had an agreement that we don't really like orthodox ones that are most common in russia, they just feel too strict somehow. she now visits some other kind of church once a week before work, i'm not sure if that's a protestant one or something else but she says it's pretty nice. she just sits there for some time listening to singing. so maybe i'll find one in my area as well. maybe i'll get to meet someone interesting while i'm at it
