Underworld (vampire & werewolf movie) my personal rating but more like a rant

when i saw this movie on dvd i thought it would be good, the way the main character stands in the cover with her LEATHER TROUSERS 🤤 and her badass demeanour caught my attention, and seeing that it was a movie that included vampires made me purchase it without thinking twice! i love vampires so obviously i would be happy to see a vampire movie with a FEMALE lead! she lowkey looked bisexual, or lesbian.. i don't know, i thought it would be cool if she was bisexual rep 

when i got home i watched another movie first, cronos, and not gonna lie it MAY have raised my expectations for the rest of the movies because cronos was just SOO good! and the vibes were different too, i think cronos is more of a traditional old man vampire type of movie while underworld is quite different.. i think i was just a bit more drawn to cronos at the time but my opinion still haven't changed even after processing both movies.

I can confess, i haven't watched the full movie but I HONESTLY COULDN'T GET THROUGH IT. it didn't seem like a movie, it seemed like a rpg scenario and i wouldn't mind that since i love role play! i dabble in larping myself, its just it was so.. cliche?? it was so dull why is there 5 more movies after that? don't get me started on the sequels. 
Selene is a vampire girl who is in a war between vampires and werewolves, the most cliche type of vampire and werewolf movie in the 2000s. and i believe it was made in 2003-6? but tbh i didn't even know the difference between the werewolves and vampires for most of the movie, all the characters have the same exact vibe and one character has a weirdly deep voice, half the time he was shirtless with glass shards in his man boobs. (another thing, why are the werewolves so sciencey? i mean i get it but i dont think it suits them as they are known for being animalistic, however i do quite like the idea of it it just doesn't make sense to me)

i didn't know what was going the entire time, although the graphics and cgi is amazing and i love the way the werewolves turn into wolves, also the lighting was amazing it reminded me of twilight, and no i do not personally like twilight i just thought underworld would be like.. the cooler twilight.. i was wrong, if anything i could say that twilight is better than this.

OF COURSE THE VAMPIRE GIRL FALLS IN LOVE WITH THE HUMAN WHILE ANOTHER VAMPIRE WHO HAS A HIGH STATUS IN THE COVEN IS GUSHING OVER HER OHH MY GOD ITS SO PREDICTABLE.. this is the type of shit i would role-play when i was 13!!! 

honestly tho i love the lighting i love the vibes i love the cyber style it has and i honestly didn't expect it, i love the science and i love the concept of ultraviolet UV ray bullets however i think its a bit OP. i think id have to rate it like a 4/10 (I LOVE SELENES LEATHER TROUSERS. i am looking through other reviews on websites and the majority agree with me when it comes to the leather trousers heheh..) Its a decent movie but imo i hate it more than i love it
