Update on the situation with the boy

Just to preface, I am NOT gonna ask him out yet. I won't do it until I'm 100% sure he'd say yes.

So, the good part of this update: last night, him and I stayed up texting until 3 AM, we only stopped because he fell asleep. He's also been saying those flirty things guys say that are just so hot like "oh yeah?" "Make me" "Why should I?" Etc. Like iykyk 🙏

Bad part of the update: my friend is still making me feel bad for liking him, all because she thinks he's weird. She keeps saying I "could do so much better," but I don't WANT to do better. Like he's actually so perfect for me.
