Voice-Acting and content-making

I honestly wish i had enough resources, self-confidence and time to do some voice-acting. I hadn't really done it before, but my close ones tell me that i do have some sort of talent of making my voice sound like different characters and people. I know that a lot of VAs started their career from, like, voicing over some memes, comics, small cartoons, but i don't really have a good mic. My friends told me to "just buy one", but it's just not that simple, because good mics aren't very cheap, especially when you're a student. And the biggest problem is that even if i were to voice-over something, i'd do it in English, because that's just my preferable language, and it's way easier for me to make funny or not-so-funny voices in English (i genuinely don't know why). I've heard of people doing it on Tik Tok, but honestly i don't want to be known as "the guy from Tik Tok", and the Tik Tok community is just awful (not everyone, but a very noticeable amount, to say the least). Idk, man, i feel like i have some potential of turning something i do casually into a product of passion, but it all feels just too distant and time-consuming. I just hope that one day i'll finally make the right decision to either forget about all of this or to commit and do it already. I know that one should follow their dreams, but it's just so hard when every day you have to study something you don't even like. I guess the next post is gonna be a vent post about career paths
