WATCHING MOVIES BECAUSE I'M AN UNCULTURED SWINE : SuperBad

SO, I haven't watched a lot of movies, to the point where I have been given homework by one of my friends to basically watch a bunch of different movies that shocks them that I've never watched.
I have a horrible memory and I'm pretty sure if I don't write about it at all to anyone, I am just going to completely forget about movies by title and therefore will need to be given a bunch of references/visuals in order to jog my memory. THEREFORE I have decided that I'm going to write a blog, basically giving a unprofessional/I-have-lived-under-a-rock-my-whole-life opinion on these movies.

Actual review of the movie

If this movie was released today, it would 100% get dogged on for coming across as a vivziepop written movie lol

DON'T GET ME WRONG, AMAZING AND ACTUALLY FUNNY MOVIE, but the amount of swears and sex jokes there are (even though I know their main goal is: get drunk, get laid, become sex masters before college starts) it feels a bit excessive, BUT WHEN YOU KEEP IN MIND THIS MOVIE IS NEARLY 20 YEARS OLD it makes more sense, and it makes the humour and setting feel a lot more reasonable.

I do like how they tackled the whole friendship ark of Evan and Seth of basically being separated because of college starting up, AND I LIKE THE CLIFF HANGER THE MOVIE WAS LEFT ON BECAUSE OF IT. I'd like to think that the ending scene is reminiscent of how peoples friendships start becoming once you leave secondary/high school, because everyone tends to go their own ways, so seeing how they both have one final hang out and then go off comfortably separating, it felt accurate to how friendships end up once you go off on your own, but you still try to keep contact with other to the best of your ability.

FOGELL IS THE BEST CHARACTER IN THE FILM. He doesn't even make it a direct aim to get laid, BUT HE NEARLY MANAGES TO DO SO ANYWAYS (given maybe it's a bit creepy that he was pretending to be 25 to get laid by an 18 year old, but I'm just gonna assume it was a bit more normalised back then...) The dude has no brains whatsoever in terms of getting the fake ID, but he manages to befriend police, GET AWAY WITH GETTING ALCOHOL TO A PARTY, and then again get away with basically setting a police car on fire. The only thing he had brains for is getting a line of puh waiting for him because he faked being arrested.

The vomit scene was a bit gross, but honestly, I have had friends who have done that, and I am lowkey greatful that it happened because then the ending scene wouldn't had made scene.
