Lately I've realized how much of life is spent waiting.
Waiting to feel better.
Waiting for surgery to heal.
Waiting for peppers to turn red.
Waiting for flowers to bloom.
Waiting for the next chapter.
I'm recovering from a triple cervical fusion, and if there's one thing recovery has taught me, it's patience. Some days I feel like I'm making huge progress. Other days I wonder if I'm moving at all.
Then I walk outside.
The garden doesn't rush. My peppers don't magically turn red overnight. My sunflowers didn't bloom the day after I planted them. They grow a little every single day—even when I can't see it.
Maybe we're a little more like gardens than we realize.
Growth isn't always obvious. Healing isn't always visible. Just because today doesn't look much different than yesterday doesn't mean nothing is happening.
So today I'm choosing to celebrate the little things.
A new sunflower.
A handful of snap beans.
A pepper getting just a little bigger.
A walk that felt a little easier.
Maybe that's enough.
💚 What's one small win you've had this week? I'd love to hear it.

Yeah, don't rush....
I think a little progress is good enough as long there's a progress.
Big things takes time anyway and I think it's worth it in the end. :)
