Weight loss ≠ eating disorder

If we’re friends, you’ve probably seen my weight loss tips for chubby and fat girls. They’re supposed to be healthy. I’ve been counting my calories and being healthy, but whenever I mention them, people start to think that I’m becoming obsessed with my weight and counting my calories. I’m not, I just want to make sure I don’t gain weight. I’m so fucking tired of being fat and I don’t want to gain anymore. That’s not being obsessive, it’s being strict and being on top of yourself. It’s happened multiple times and I just don’t get what they’re talking about because they didn’t care when I had an eating disorder. Why does it matter now? I’ve lost 15 pounds, isn’t that a good thing?

yayayay!! good job on loosing 15 pounds!! And I agree yes losing weight and an ED are VERY different.  As someone who's had an ED for 4 almost 5 years, it's a little tricky to tell if it's an ED or just strict weightloss. strict weight loss CAN developed into a restrictive ED but it doesn't always happen. People also tend to forget about non-restrictive EDs like BED which is like a million times more common. The other commentor is a little mistaken as EDs dont always involve being very very thin. People are proabably just trying to look out for you, even though it's annoying it's just showing that these people care for you.

That’s a great thing congratulations on losing 15 pounds! It only becomes a problem when you get unhealthy because being extremely thin doesn’t mean you’re healthy you can go too far in either direction you know! As long as you’re healthy that’s what matters!
