Weird Al concert i went to

on July 1st i went and seen weird al live, it was the first concert I've seen since 2021 when i seen the beach boys. anyways my friend said his dad bought an extra seat from a person so he went to me and seen if i wanted to go, me only knowing base knowledge of weird al i of course said yes, who wouldn't wanna see weird al live? puddles pity party first before the yankovic and i knew he was a pretty alright singer, after puddles songs were done i became a new fan of puddles, he had a funny performance and i found it amusing. while he was performing me and my friend went and tried to get some merch but the lines were to long still so we instead got drinks and food.

when weird al got on stage it was a weird experience no pun intended, it was just so interesting seeing him in person albeit from a far distance it was still cool to see him with my own eyes. he played the popular songs and a few i never heard before, my favorite part of the entire thing was that him and the band would change costumes from the music videos for the songs he played, i was blown away when he walked on stage in the fat suit singing fat, that is a top 10 moment of my life if i gotta be honest. towards the end al did a fake ending and started playing for like 20 or 30 more minutes. when the real ending happened me and my friend rushed to the merch line and we were lucky enough to actually get a decent spot and i got a shirt and a keychain, then we got lost in the parking lot cause my buddies dad moved the car so we walked around for like 10 minutes going insane in the parking garage trying to find an exit and where the van was. eventually we found it and went home. would recommend, 10/10 performance and even became a fan of a new person.
