gossip girl here, and here’s the drama.
September 2nd, 2007
Grace Archer is obvs new to Artelia Academy—which is a private high reserved for rich kids, ofc. but here’s the funny thing…Grace isn’t rich, she got in cause of a scholarship or whateves. And later than the others cause of a long trip for to see her dad all the way in Oklahoma. now…she comes into science first period and our most popular girl: Evie Haley, notices her. Evie is, like, super duper famous cause her mom is a model and her dad owns that very magazine (Enmity) her mom works for. Here’s how it went down.
Grace: “uhm…can I help you?”
Evie: “Yeah…like, you’re really pretty and that’s exactly what I need. I’ve also been hearing that you’re totally smart. My friends or whatever, they don’t compare to you. So, I’m thinking—why not be my sidekick?”
Grace: “Sidekick? I’m not a superhero.”
Evie: “…hah…funny. Just—join me, and I’ll change your life. Like, all of it.”
The science teacher (Mrs Saylor) immediately silenced the class and began her lesson, and through all of it—Grace got everything right that Mrs Saylor asked.
After class, Evie came up to her again.
Evie: “So? Are you gonna be my new friend?”
