§§§§§§§ SPOILER WARNING FOR THE MOVIE §§§§§§
So on Monday i went to see the movie "BACKROOM" and it was geniuenly so good, i've been following Kane Pixels since his video on "ATTACK ON TITAN" and like the movie really did justice to everything Kane made about his serie "BACKROOM" so geniuenly what tf do the people who hated the movie wanted more ?????
I feel like (and i might be wrong but i'll still say it) thoses who hated the movie are the one who came from the games, the roblox games, the memes ect...(I really don't wanna say "larp" cause like i kinda don't like the word).
- Yall wanted VHS/Found footage, yall got it! It would have made 0 sence for the movie to take place in 2025/2026 and for the main protagonist to have a VHS camera to film the thing like ????
- Yall wanted a story that made sence for the BACKROOMS, yall got it too! It's a place that captures what already exisit but not quite the same same, either for the scenery or the people....It's really not that hard
- Yall wanted "element of culture" AND YALL STILL GOT IT DESPITE OF WHEN THE MOVIE TAKE PLACE (1990), we have one of the BIGGEST LOST WAVE OF OUR GENERATION IN THE MOVIE, the song people made YEARS AND YEARS TO FIND WITH ONE OF THE BIGGEST AND MOST FUNNIEST PLOT TWIST- i called ULTERIOR MOTIVE!
So knowing that the movie take place in 1990 we can't put things like YOUTUBE, REDDIT or 4CHAN in the movie BECAUSE IT DIDN'T EXISTED AT THE TIME HELLO?????????????
- Yall wanted monsters and screamers, YOU ALSO GOT THAT ! And if i may add, the backrooms NEVER HAD PREDEFINED MONSTERS UNTIL KANE PIXELS MADE MONSTERS FOR THE SERIE- and his idea of monsters for the movie is literally BETTER than his original idea on the serie, we have monsters with lore and not just a dark skinny thread with a big ass head that chase people for 0 reasons.
When i said that i thought the people who hated/didn't like the movie were people who only knows the backrooms because of the games and not the lore it's because i feel like they wanted those full on suited in yellow mans to be the main protagonists, they wanted the multiple levels thing ect but again it would have been IMPOSSIBLE and in my opinion VERY BORING to follow THIS side of the backrooms, it worked as a game BECAUSE IT'S A MECHANIC THAT WORKS ONLY FOR THE GAMES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The fact that in the movie, the backroom is this confusing place where everyting is merged with 0 cohesion, 0 logic is so much better! It's not one floor for one scenery but everything all at once, the pool level, the christmas level, the hotel level and the level 0 everything is one!
Like i am so so so so confused on why people describe the movie as bad and i think these are the same people responsible for how bad the FNAF movie was cause all the points yall mae for BACKROOM was the same points we found in FNAF and see how that turned out....

I never saw or played any previous backrooms media before I saw the movie. I just wanted to see something scary and interesting, and it delivered. I then went and watched the whole youtube series and enjoyed it as well. It's too bad some people that were fans previous to the movie have issues with it. I think all of it builds a really cool world and I want to see more.
Yeah! I agree, i think some complains were also that "it wasn't scary" (which imo kinda is untrue) like the whole concept of the backroom doesn't rely on jumpscare and gore, it rely on the feeling of uneasiness, discomfort and "being followed/being watched" that's the whole mechanism of the backrooms.
Then again some people that are actually fans of the backrooms are saying that it didn't concentrate in the place/the backroom itself but more on the characters which you know what fair, however i feel like we needed to have this pov cause obviously the backroom WILL play with your sanity and mental health that's obvious, imo that would have been the easy and boring thing to do because it would have been really previsible- the fact that we follow people who already go through so much just add depth to how weird, bizzare, scary and fast the backroom are and can adapt.
The movie is for the people who never saw any piece of media related to the backrooms (like you) and still can, understand the whole jig of it, it's for the people that are fans of the backrooms and followed the lore EVEN if they came late, it's fo the people who followed the whole backroom thing from the start; that contributed to the lore and made the thing entertaining!
