What happened to underground internetcore music?

So around a year ago I started getting into this new genre of depressed teenagers rap over lofi indie guitars and trap beats. Think lil peep and Alex G mashed up together. The main guy in this scene was a 20 year old kid from Atlanta who went by wifiskeleton. He made some bangers like "back to my day job", "i must B Ret***ed", "loser club", and many many more. He had a promising future in the underground, but then made it big on Tik Tok and very tragically died of a overdose in May 2025. Wifi was truly gifted at what did and paved the way for a new scene. Next came Overtonight, also a guy who blew up on Tik Tok and had some hits but now seems to falling off as he slowly drip feeds us singles that are sounding like slop more and more every time. Then came Imar. I wish I could say good things about him but because of the numerous claims with more than enough proof to back them up. Imar is just a truly awful person. That puts us here today. A scene where creators get big, and then immediately fall off, get too big for their own good, or get some nasty allegations. Where is the scene? Where is the self-deprecation and angst? Hopefully this scene will start to get some life back into it soon.                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Sorry if this too much of an incoherent rant.
