"What's to stop them...? I mean, what's really to stop them...?" (10/15/2026)

...I just scored tickets to see DJ Shadow live on the 29th! He will be performing the entirety of Endtroducing... in sequence as part of the current tour he is doing. I've seen videos of him performing live and it certainly looks like a fun show, so frankly I just can't wait. Tragically, I did have to pay upwards of $100 for 1 ticket, which just makes me sad because for that much money to see one show, I should be treated like royalty. It's whatever, though.

...and speaking of, now listening: "Endtroducing..." by DJ Shadow: it deserved a relisten concurrent w/ recent events. "Mutual Slump" really shines for me now. I always kind of overlooked it because it was sandwiched between the beautiful "Stem / Long Stem" and the wild "Organ Donor" (and then Why Hip Hop Sucks/Midnight in a Perfect World, etcetera...)

...other than that, not much else to report. The news about the tickets pretty much overshadowed anything else going on in my life right now. I guess it's worth mentioning that I'm finally not busy anymore (...at least, for the next two weeks). Yup, I'm finally on break. Hooray, I guess.
