I've been burning the damn candle on both ends for a long while now. It sucks, and it has made me really take a lot of time to sit and think about my life and where i'm at, and how i want to go on. At that weird crossroads of genuine adulthood and mature responsibility, and the remnants of childhood, its put me in a very uncomfortable melancholic place. As an unlikely ally to this, my parents have decided to move and sell their house, my childhood house. Now, good for them, they're getting older and they'd like to find a more suitable house to retire in and im very happy for them. Though it is very hard to learn that ill no longer be able to go to the place where so many memories were made. Where my whole like unfolded. It has been a very difficult thing for me personally to tackle.
I've also been having real identity crisis with schooling. It's really hard, and really frustrating to have to decide my career for my life now, not only decide but pay exorbitant amounts of money for it. Just to undoubtedly get underpaid doing it. But in this realization I think i've decided to switch my major to something that will at least help people. If i'm going to make no money and struggle no matter what job or career i go into, I would rather it be something that benefits others. I'm currently majoring in small business management, but I think I'm going to switch to Early Childhood Education. With the way the world is today, and seemingly the way its continuing to go, young children can get left behind so quickly, and it seems now more than ever they need strong role models to help guide them through these formative years. But again, I don't know. What do you think?
Where are you? Where are you going? Wherever you are I hope all is well.
Thank you
Listen To This It's good
