Now sure the future brings many things, but what i don't want the future to bring is the 5th toy story and it's not about how toy story is a kids movie. It's about the fact there isn't anything new coming out. There were several shows in the 90's and 80's such as transformers, Ghostbusters, biker mice on mars, teenage mutant ninja turtles, and G.I.Joe. these shows had a focus on selling toys. Then the 2000s on there were plenty of new shows coming out such as monster high, ever after high, and toys like Bratz. I feel like now no new ideas are coming out. If anything comes out it's a sequal to something that had it's hayday 10 years ago. And sure, I love new content for a series more than anyone else does, but it's all bad! They don't want to make a good movie they just want to profit off of the popularity of the last one.

i was lowk thinking about this in the shower this morning like "how much great talent have we lost thanks to studios laying off creative employees".
Real like I don't understand why they keep doing sequels anyway like 10 years after the og when it's not that profitable. Occasionally a sequel will catch on but most of the time they lose money

i got so scared when i found out final destination was getting a 6th movie but it turned out to be rlly good and still be smth different!.... then they said they're doing a 7th. Please. I can't.

the industrys incredibly dire rn but there is a show or two out there ud like. dont think ur looking in the right places. branch out a little and u might be surprised

if i see one more 7th sequel to a franchise that should've ended a decade ago, live action remake of a beloved kids movie or random spinoff that nobody asked for get released IM ACTUALLY GONNA END IT ALL.
Real like there's no point in live actions MAKE SOMETHING NEW AND ORIGINAL! One reason I feel like new movies like sheep detectives, backrooms, and obsession are doing well in movie theaters is because they're new ideas and new charaters.
