Why did I create gears, what is gears? etc...

First off gears is a 4 year 2000s style archival high school project. My main goals was to capture the highschool experience through a nostalgic lens(kinda looking at a memory), while also have it be entertaining. I kinda designed it so that that me, my friends and the rest of people that go to my school can go back to this archive and look back at it later. 

I got alot of influence for gears from old YouTube vlogs, KamTape, OJXFilms on YT, 2000s web culture, and myself.

The name gears is supposed to b a reference to the school system, the school system relies on people to operate, and those people are "gears" to the system. The logo is faded and crunched up and looks messy to define the 9th grade year, or how 9th grade felt to me, since its the first year ofc. 

Since this is the end Of Mark 1 (2025-2026) I'd like to thank everyone who helped on the journey and didn't just ignore like alot of the people in my life would have.
