Why I'm team L and I hate Light (Death Note)

ok maybe this is influenced by the fact I'm christian bu I believe even if i wasnt I still wouldn't support light and here's why:

Light started out with good intentions just like how some other powerful ppl in this world probably did but, power corrupts, power corrupts absolutely. Also in the first ep/ manga he makes it very clear that he intends to be god. This is where I think me being christian might sway my opinion on this which is valid but even as a non religious person I personally think u should see a problem with this bc this is an insane amount of narcsisim and a crazy god complex. also as u can see as the series progresses, Light starts taking out innocent ppl if he feels that they get in the way of his plan. I understand why he thought that would be the right move bc reguardless of him being in the wrong in my eyes, he thinks he's doing what's best but that absolutely doesn't excuse that AT ALL! He is a man he is a human, he does not have the right to put himself in the position of some sort of "god" and put us at his mercy, a human being with flaws and all, has the power to murder any of us at any minute and use some sort of reasoning on how it would help his plan or something. I personally dont rlly understand how anyone is team light tbh but if u are feel free to talk in the comments abt it I'm open to listening. :)
