why modern-yuri is better than modern-yaoi

so it truly confuses me how people can prefer yaoi over yuri, "oh but why?? its obv bc of the boost in yaoi manhwa!!!" dude shut up, im talking abt before that and extras, like yaoi fans that are fans of yaoi in general, but yes (the common stereotypical) mlm manhwa is a big reason why I think yuri (over time) has comparatively become better than yaoi in its entire history due to the amounts of mindless fan service modern yaoi has been giving lately, for one to look at old yuri and yaoi, in MY opinion they used to be (sorta) equal, until yaoi became like a little TOO mainstream with women that all they wanna see is a big 12'11 man touching a 4'2 baby twink for 78 hours straight which has caused (most) modern yaoi to lose all plot, storyline, or uniqueness as a whole whileas modern yuri has been working at doing the complete opposite, so sadly i would have to say modern women-directed mlm manhwa is generally could never compare to 2000s shojo yaoi , not that im saying modern yuri can!! its just that i personally believe that if yaoi will be so popular it should gain its old 'feeling' it used to have. but thats jst my opinion.
