WIP: Umamusume

I think my favorite thing about Umamusume is the stories that they spotlight with each Uma that debuts.

Of course, as a result, I started reading more about the stories of some racehorses. It's incredible how many articles they can have about one horse! My favorite right now (and possibly of all time) is Cigar!

I'm currently trying to give her a bit of a redesign. It's fairly minor, but I wanted to change her streak to look more like her real-life counterpart's marking. Additionally, I changed her mini fedora to a small attendant's hat since the horse was named after an airplane checkpoint rather than a tobacco product. There's also an 11 on the hat to reference the 11 G1 stakes that Cigar has won. (It may change, I think the Dubai World Cup is also a G1 stake race. That would make it 12 if so, which is still amazing!)

*Also included earrings, since the hat doesn't fully convey that Cigar is a stallion.

I do have Cigar on my mind constantly though. Maybe constant is a bit of an overstatement, but genuinely a horse that I have an attachment to. Reading all the articles about him has been really fun to do and really helped conceptualize a design. I also think it's a little amusing that the jockey silks are very patriotic. Overall, I think there will be more changes since I know a lot more about this horse compared to when she was first designed.
