Working in Fast Food....

When I was in high school I told myself I would NEVER work in fast food. I heard so many horror stories and saw Youtube videos of people talking about their own experiences. Unfortunately some life things happened and I had to get a quick job to pay the bills and this one very specific fast food chain paid the most and hired me.

Never in my entire life have I been treated this poorly... I live in a town of mostly old people and they pull up to the drive thru and start barking orders OH MY GAWDDDDDD "Give me this" "I want that" WHAT HAPPENED TO "my I please" 😭 And that's not even the worst. On nights I was by myself I was dealing  with customers at the window and speaker at the same time so if I took too long to reply to an old person on the speaker they go "I guess she's not even listening to me" or "HELLO???? DOES ANYBODY EVEN WORK HEREEEE????" Like yes people do work here, I even started to take your order I'm just dealing with two of yall at once.

Then there's the people who expect EVERYTHING from you and the place you work... for example this couple in the drive thru want certain items we don't have then say to me "well I don't know what to do because I'm vegetarian" Idk maybe leave??? We mostly sell meat products like genuinely what on Earth were you expecting??? And also, I was being nothing but KIND to these people because I didn't want any trouble with them. They still place their order and when I cash them out I tell them to have a great night and they SCOFF AT ME???? SCOFFING BECAUSE I TOLD YOU TO HAVE A GOOD NIGHT???? BROTHERRRRR....... anyways.
