wrmr: dinner in america

hello and welcome to wmr (weekly raw movie review)

fom today on i'll be weekly watching one of the MANY movie's that i've been procastinating

why "raw"? because i won't give a standard rewiew, i'll just ramble about what i liked (or loved) about it, of course i'll spoil it so beware of that

for this very first week we have

DINNER IN AMERICA

i've been procrastinatig this movie for about 2 years give or take

at first i even got the title wrong because everyone calls it breakfast in america instead of dinner in america for some reason

but whatever, i found it and OHHH MY GOOODDD saying that i loved it is an understatement; i absolutley ADORED it

to sum it up, it' every weird girl's dream, from start to end

i loved the dinamic between Simon and Patty, i loved how he stood up for her (so at the end she learns how to stand up for herself), how he thinks she's weird but not in a negative sense, I LOVED the scene when they recorded Watermelon togheter, how the way that they look at eachother changes throughout the movie... i loved it, that's all i'm going to say

also, putting the plot aside, the photograpy was amazing, i liked the coloring and composition of each scene

and also the music, aside from the main movie's song it was perfect, especially during their first date scene

anddd that's it
