Prior 2 2Day, i Knew a Buttload of NUTHIN Bout this, "Verity ". Only Faint whispers of it on Trending Pages. Shocking -- Considering i M Rather Active in the Minecraft community. it Just Never interested Me till Now.
in a Nutshell, Boring Long car ride Home (~1.5hr), decided 2 Finally Educ8 myself and Be caught Up wif wats Poppin in the MC community; Watched The Verity Movie and Listened 2 Some Songs...
From wat i understand (so far) ... it is a Minecraft mod which adds a little AI Helper - catchphrase being "Ask me Anything! I Know Everything...", working as a Literal AI, Like, chatGPT built in the game... and L8r On the Little Yellow Ball Turns in2 a Physical Horror Monster. So , a Horror Mod basically.
Then, a Youtuber - ThatMob turned said mod into an ARG, which blew Up. THEN, a composer /animator Horror Skunx (also Known 4 Making Skibidi Toilet, iirc) made Two music Videos , based off of ThatMob's ARG based off of The original Horror Mod, and it blew up Times Two Of THatMob's Video, which because of its popularity - turned into slop /brain Rot.... ... is what i Understand based off of my brief Findings....
i don t... necessarily Understand Why it blew Up, but i GUess it is the Same for skibidi Toilet and 67, no particular Reason it Just Does ... And, why its Slop ? My Guess it s Probably Because it is Something Like CG5, Musix Based off of Minecraft nonsence... Labeled "cringe". But After Listening 2 THe Full Two Songs its Not THAT Bad; i d Say Even its Pretty Good. i Like the Lord Verity One.... As well as the "Elevator Music " in ThatMob's Video. Speaking Of, The ARG series is Actually Good. Not GOOD Good BEst thing in the World, But its Decent. i Seriously Don T Get the H8... But Again, Not particularly a Fan of Everything Anything Verity Rel8ed - considering it is infact just genAI crap..

Fun fact: The mod was based of ThatMob's videos.
Another fun fact is that this smiling yellow face thing existed on the internet way before it was named Verity and came into this horror mod.
It's a shame that it has turned to brainrot for most people, the story is really great. People just hate it because they think it's just brianrot, while the original is not that at all.
