Yappin

So, a few things I wanted to talk about but they're kinda small to be alone in my opinion, so I'm gonna put them all in here, like a mash up kinda. First, this week I got to the final league in Duolingo, I never bothered too much with that, but it's nice to finally have been in all the leagues, and the last one is just diamond again but a different shape. What the frick man. You had amethyst and ruby and obsidian and whatnot but you repeated diamond? There were so many other gem options. So that mildly annoyed me.

Second, I got new glasses today! Yippers, I can finally see again. Before we went on the trip to visit grandparents, we (me, Alice, and Bender, Esme doesn't need glasses) went to get our yearly glasses check up, and get new prescriptions, but they were ready mid-trip and Dad finally picked them up today. And last year, my right eye was worse, but now my left eye caught up, so now they're even. And that makes a difference in the glasses, and now with the new ones I have to adjust, I mean you always do with new glasses, but it feels like my depth perception is off, like was that always that far or close? And I wonder if that has to do with my eyes worsening at different rates and finally getting corrected together so it seems like a bigger difference. 

Something I loved to do when I first got my glasses several years ago now, was to look out the window at the daises in our garden and keep putting my glasses on and off and seeing the little daises reappear clearly. Tomorrow I wanna go on a walk and enjoy nature being nice and crisp again and seeing each leaf clearly, we'll have to see if the weather will allow it though. Also my new glasses are huge, like the frames are way bigger than my last pair. I don't hate them, it's just a difference I'll have to get used to, yk? I also think they might suit my face better, but I'm no expert.

Third, I made some noodles earlier and I was so excited to eat them but my favourite spoon and fork for noodles were dirty. :( sad, I still ate them, but the experience was dampened slightly by the lack of good cutlery. And speaking of food, Bender got me some fruit-tella (starburst basically) and it's cherries and berries flavour, there's a raspberry, a blackberry, and cherry flavour and the freaking pack had five raspberry, three blackberry and TWO cherry and I was sad cuz cherry is my favourite flavour :( Side note, is it just me or do cherry flavoured stuff always have a marzipan/almond aftertaste? I've noticed it happening a lot
