I've not spoken much about my love of The Amazing Digital Circus on my profile yet but it's one of my biggest special interests!!! My fav character is Jax (I know some people aren't keen on them but I have reasons pls don't dogpile me lmao). I really wanted the finale poster when it was announced and I saved up, waited and NOW IT'S HERE!!!!!

It's so cool!!!! It's definitely healed me a little after ep9 :')
I'm actually pretty pleased with the new additions I'm making to my room, it feels more like my own now, instead of being the blank slate it was in high school. It's nice to actually realise that I'm allowed to appreciate my interests and enjoy things that make me happy!

Hurray! That's awesome that you're slowly making your room your space. I'm trying to do the same with my own space.
The poster art is so beautiful, kinda reminds me of watercolor. I'm genuinely curious to hear about the reasons why Jax is your favorite. I personally don't like Jax but I'm always interested to hear other people's opinions on them.
Thanks for the comment :D
I'd be happy to infodump about my opinion on Jax tbh, i looooove infodumping XD
I'm assuming you've watched the full series so I'll go into vague detail.
The big appeal to me with Jax's story is the idea of how pretending to be someone you're not, isolation and trauma shapes your behaviour if left unchecked. Jax masking their anxiety and fears, about not just their personal life but their identity in general, with a brash and snarky "nothing upsets me" attitude hits very close to home and whilst I don't defend the way they treat some of the other cast, I can certainly see how that feeling of being stuck inside your own head and worrying so much about what others may think of you could end up making someone very unapproachable simply because they believe someone trying getting close to them might end up getting hurt.
Some people dilute it down to "I'm sad so that makes what I did ok" but personally I think it's deeper than that. It's a complex look at how abuse, neglect and trauma can end up affecting others. Jax's actions are likely a result of their previous environment before they fled.
Jax's sudden realisation that they want to change and they want to break out of that cycle of behaviour is something that honestly, meant a lot to me as someone who was often considered a troubled child (when infact teachers and other students weren't trying to understand the fact I was struggling with my own identity or the fact that I was constantly in sensory meltdown thanks to bullying and a number of factors) and thought it'd be easier to be alone - or worse.
Jax knowing and having to accept that they no longer had the chance to change and to ask for help was kind of what solidified their arc as a great anti-suicide message in my opinion.
Sorry lol I know that's a lot to read XD
