“You dress like a middle schooler” as a scene teen

I’ve been told that I dress like a middle schooler whenever I go shopping because I always go through the boy’s and men’s section to look for band and video game (mainly Minecraft) tee shirts since those are the most scene graphic tees I can find nowadays. I kind of see it, too. Now I’m not gonna stop dressing the way that I do because I feel the most like myself when I dress scene, but does anyone else think that the fashion kinda feels middle school boy centered?
