Anti-AI people
Now hear me out, I am neutral on AI, I use it to assist in tedious work, I also use it in art, but, with a LOT of my experiences with actual artists, they tend to be stuck up, and overly high on themselves, plus charging stupid prices and showcasing low quality artwork to "showcase their skills"
While I say I can get alon with AI art, I do not like how some people spend like an hour training an AI, and think that art is worth $200.

I've always been mixed on AI. Don't agree with data centers being build but I always viewed it as a tool and nothing more. Still requires skill to use but of course by hand is more impressive, just like traditional art is more impressive than digital art.
I'm a petty person though so I had some sort of sick amusement out of artist getting mad AI will replace them as I remembered as an older teen other artists bullied me for doing art as a hobby and sucked the enjoyment out of it. Sucks if one day it'll replace people but I see it the same way as better machines and technology makes less and less people needed for certain work. But I think I'll laugh if the people who get replaced are the ones who do nothing but harass others for not being as good as them. No idea if they're egomaniacs or its just a way to cut out competition.

Every single person who jumped in to argue was likeโฆ 16, 19, โhidden age,โ and 16 again.
AND They all copied each other. That tells me they donโt actually think for themselves...they just repeat whatever the last person said, or theyโre all friends dogโpiling because thatโs what TEENS do online.
Itโs always that same age group too. AntiโAI is basically a personality trait for them at this point.
And for the AI haters, please understand something If youโre gonna scream about AI โhurting the planet,โ then you better be ready to scream about literally everything humans do. Because the same argument applies to every part of modern life:
Streaming apps
Social media
Gaming
Phones
Online shopping Food production
Clothes
Every app they use daily... powered by the same type of data centers they pretend AI uniquely destroys
So when someone tries to act morally superior about AI while theyโre sitting there doomscrolling TikTok on a phone shipped across the planet, powered by giant server farms, wrapped in plastic, delivered by trucks, charged with electricity from a grid they donโt understandโฆ they look stupid. Straight up.
Also known as the "hive mentality" a certain aspect of people always have.
