TRACK 1 : IT

The photo concept i'll give it: Overthinking/let it go 

The producer: IOAH 

The composers: IOAH and MABOKPIL 

The lyricst: YVES 

The vibe: It's giving walking in the night or staying all night rambling/overthinking about something 

The meaning of the song: The end of a version of yourself, letting go, cossinf some kind of of internal lines

Commentary: I really love the fact that YVES made an entire EP that is an entire cycle you go from Death to rebirth and "IT" opening the EP with this kind of troubled, doubtful sensation, questioning your identity and crossing this blurry line, i just love when an artist to that. 

I obviously give the song a 10/10 

TRACK 2 : HALO

The photo concept i'll give it: Sad girl dancing at the club 

The producer: IOAH 

The composers: IOAH  

The lyricst: YVES and IOAH

The vibe: you are dancing at the club alone but you feel like you're surrounded by people then you suddently realize that this was all a hallucination 

The meaning ofthe song: Abstract on purpose, a feeling you sense rather than fully understanding it, a feeling of orbiting connection that is close but never grasped.

Commentary: Again, i love when an artist choose to let a track be lead by the intrumental to give us a certain vibe, plus her voice that is literally sliding WITH the instrumental it makes you think that her voice is also part of the instrumental.

The only moment where it switch up completely, it's at the end when she is hyperventilating.

I try to be unbiased here but she is taking it, i'll also give this song a  10/10 

TRACK 3 : NAIL (feat Lolo Zouai)

The photo concept i'll give it: Infront of the mirror but the reflection isn"t the same as you

The producer: IOAH 

The composers: IOAH and LOLO ZOUAI

The lyricst: YVES, LOLO ZOUAI and DOPAIN

The vibe: It feels like a song that i could see as the ost of a movie were a woman is followed by her inner "demons" that looks like her exactly like the movie "PERFECT BLUE" or "BLACK SWAN" 

The meaning ofthe song: A presence that does not easily fade and keeps resurfacin, a mental fixation you're trying to shake off, resisting to something that still has power over you.

Commentary: Loved that the end of HALO and the start of NAIL are a transition, lolo zouai's voice was perfect for this ong, it blends very well with YVES!

Again, i can't give anything else but a 10/10 

TRACK 4 : BREAK IT (feat LEXIE LIU)

The photo concept i'll give it: Crying in all these empty spacesthat are supposed to be your safe places (ex: bedroom, coffee shop etc)

The producer: IOAH 

The composers: IOAH and LEXIE LIU

The lyricst: LEXIE LIU and DOPAIN

The vibe: It's giving letting go and finally crying while walking in the dark night.

The meaning ofthe song: Exploding condensed energy, breaking from "identity limites", going from internal pressure to outward expression, it's a catharitic explosion were YVES and LEXIE LIU release built up emotions, breaking throught identity limits towards transformation.

Commentary: I feel like YVES really gave us an EP love "live through the night", for the overthinkers, the ones with insomina or those who just want to cry for no reason other than because they want to, the song is amazing and LEXIE LIU being added it's just the cherry on top of the cake.

the fact that i've been listening to the songs like i described it in my commentary, i HAVE to give this song another 10/10 

LAST TRACK : Birth 

The photo concept i'll give it: A glitch in the reality

The producer: IOAH 

The composers: YVES and IOAH 

The lyricst: YVES

The vibe: It feels like everything is crashing down and glitching but then everything is building up again and creats a new world.

The meaning ofthe song: Starting over mentally and emotionally, especially when you feel drained, depressed, stuck. 

The emotinal release, recoving self esteem, hitting you lowest pont but deciding to change and becoming a better version of yourself

Commentary: I love the meaning of the song, it feels lighter and uplifiting, it gives you a sense of relif at the end

FOR MY FAVORITE SONG OF THE EP I'LL GIVE IT A BIG 11/10 

Overall the ep was fantastic also i peeped how it was also connected to her previous work :

"Low energy/lethargy, i can't move" this feeling of being stuck in a LOOP 

"Blurred sense of self/fading identity" connecting to a SOFT ERROR, a glitch or an incomplet version of yourself

And then this one were "it's darkeness until it's not" 

I will always say it but YVES is one of the most talented artist out there
