Music player reliability, blog & video polish, and profile layout fixes.

  • Fixed Profile music no longer stops when you open someone's photos or badges from their profile.
  • Fixed Fixed cross-tab audio leaks and profile autoplay getting stuck after visiting several profiles.
  • Fixed Browser tab titles no longer hijack to "NOW PLAYING: Unknown" across every open tab.
  • Improved Only one browser tab plays site audio at a time — starting playback in a tab pauses the others.
  • Fixed Video comment Reply works again; nested reply-to-reply threading on watch pages.
  • Fixed Blog GIF embeds (Tenor, etc.) display correctly instead of showing only alt text.
  • Improved Music modal: "Back to genres" returns you from search results to the genre grid.
  • Fixed Custom profile interest category labels (::after) no longer disappear for some SpaceHey-style layouts.
  • Improved Blog comments and replies open inline on the entry page with the full editor — no separate page hop.
  • Improved Videos browse & explore: infinite scroll loads more tiles as you scroll.
  • Improved @usernames in video comments link to creator channels.
  • Improved Mobile IM: date dividers, edit/delete your messages, friends list refreshes after reconnect.
  • Improved Homepage Arrange mode: drag widgets anywhere on the wallpaper, resize floating modules (desktop).
  • Improved Emoji picker in editors leads with faces and common reactions.
  • Improved Profile comment counts on profiles count top-level comments only (replies excluded).
  • Improved Profile Tunes: help hint for owners with no songs yet.

FR Pets launch and forum spam controls.

  • New FR Pets — Tamagotchi-style virtual pet game in the Games section.
  • Improved FR Pets device buttons use clear A / B / C labels and readable icons.
  • Improved Forum new-topic rate limits and duplicate-thread warnings; forum activity notifications respect your settings.

Late May 2026

Notifications, video embeds, and performance tweaks.

  • Improved Push notifications respect per-type preferences; group chat only pings on @mentions.
  • Improved Chat photos & videos auto-expire after 3 months (as advertised in mobile chat).
  • New Video pages: embed your uploads in bulletins and on other sites.
  • Improved Header visualizer loads only when you press play — lighter browsing on mobile.
  • Improved New profile photo uploads capped at 8 MB (animated GIFs preserved).
  • Improved Video editor: clearer errors for unsupported edits; keeps your work if publish fails.

Mid May 2026

Profile layouts and the global music bar.

  • Improved Custom profile layouts: better compatibility for SpaceHey-style nav, container width, and mixed selector styles.
  • Improved Profile headers stay on the author's theme — viewer site themes no longer repaint profile chrome.
  • Fixed Music bar: pausing now sticks across page navigation until you press play again.
  • Improved Layout marketplace: optional manual screenshot upload for Advanced CSS layouts.

Docs, groups, and editor quality-of-life.

  • Improved Custom layout help page updated for standard nav selectors (nav .top / nav .links).
  • Improved Group push: only @mentions notify; join/invite spam removed from push.

Spring 2026

Group chat reliability.

  • Improved Group chat: faster reconnect and missed messages catch up when you return to the tab.
